Phoenix Fire Files & Fireproof Safes
Each Phoenix fire-resistant model is independently tested to European or American standards for fire protection and carries certification labels from the testing agency that identify the product’s fire protection level. Products that provide fire protection for paper records are listed with the designation of “Class 350.” Tests for products designed to protect paper records range from 60 to 120 minutes in temperatures ranging from 1700°F to 1859°F. By comparison, a typical fire lasts 20 minutes and reaches 800°F. During the fire test, the internal temperature of the product is monitored to ensure that it does not rise above a level that would endanger the paper documents stored within the product. The designation tag also indicates the length of the fire test as “1 HR, 1 ½ HR, or 2 HR” and is located next to each model number.

Fireproof Safes
Fire Commander 1900 Series - The Fire Commander offers two-hour fire protection at temperatures above 1850°F, protects many types of digital media for 60 minutes, includes lockable drawers and shelves, and comes with a programmable, digital electronic lock. Model 1901 includes a bolt-down kit for additional security. Fire Fighter 500 Series - The Fire Fighter defends your vital records from fire for up to two hours, with user-friendly digital electronic locks and available digital-media protection of one hour. All Fire Fighters include a bolt-down kit for additional security.

Cashier Deposit Safes
Churches, concession stands, ticket offices and fundraiser collection sites have all relied on Phoenix depository safes to protect collected cash until deposited at the bank. The 990 Series bodies are constructed with a ¼" steel plate, with a ½" door of solid steel that is further reinforced with hardened anti-drill plates over the locking area. Large-capacity drop area can accommodate money bags, envelopes, packages and deposit capsules.
